Privacy Policy
Effective June 21, 2026
Overview
Oxane is a project workspace built by Studio Gahissy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Oxane, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain-spoken on purpose — if anything is unclear, email us at [email protected].
By using Oxane you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please don't use the service.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service:
- Account information. When you sign up we store your name, email address, and an encrypted password (or, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile details Google shares with us).
- Content you create. The projects, pages, tasks, files, and other content you and your team add to your workspace.
- Usage data. Basic technical information your browser sends — such as IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit — which we use to keep the service secure and working.
We do not collect special-category data (such as health or biometric data) and we ask that you don't store it in Oxane.
How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- provide, maintain, and improve Oxane;
- authenticate you and keep your account and data secure;
- respond to your support requests;
- send essential service messages (for example, sign-in codes or important account notices); and
- detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical issues.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your project content to train AI models.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored on a real backend with authenticated, workspace-scoped access — your content is only reachable by you and the people you invite. Files are kept in object storage, and passwords are stored only as salted hashes. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Sharing and third-party services
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run Oxane, and only to the extent they need it to do their job. These include:
- cloud hosting and database providers (to store your account and content);
- object storage providers (to store files you upload);
- email delivery providers (to send sign-in codes and account notices); and
- authentication providers, such as Google, when you choose to sign in with them.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Studio Gahissy, our users, or the public.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information and content within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain certain records to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Your rights and choices
You can access and update most of your information directly in your account settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Children's privacy
Oxane is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of Oxane after an update means you accept the revised policy.
